For over twenty years, Flatley Read has provided compliance management services to state and federally funded programs throughout New York State.

We achieve this mission by providing a variety of services to individuals, municipalities, as well as public and private organizations, including environmental analysis, EPA and DOL certified contractor training courses. We also provide community development services, including grant writing, project management, and program assistance for state and federally funded projects.
Company History
Michelle Read DeGarmo is an EPA Certified Lead Based Paint Risk Assessor, Environmental Professional per ASTM 1527 BPI Certified Building Analyst/Envelope Professional, and former LEED Green Associate. After more than 15 years in the environmental analysis and project management industry, Michelle conceived of the idea of starting her own business in 2012. She named the company Flatley Read as an homage to her family who were settlers and residents of the old Saratoga patent.
In 2018, Michelle incorporated as Flatley Read, Inc. taking the next step in the company’s evolution. With expanded staff and technical capacity Flatley Read is well poised to provide exceptional service to communities throughout New York State.
